This device mimics the function of a standard Radio Control (RC) style servo motor.
However the typical RC servo cannot provide the large torques needed to move the
hardware in larger robotics projects. Our innovative design allows proportionally higher
torques to be generated when compared with similar, mass produced RC servos.
Our circuit design allows currents up to 5 Amps to be handled safely and efficiently. The unit has been designed to provide angular movements at speeds that mimic those of a human. We use a motor rated at 15 volts however the circut is rated upto 40 volts allowing the user can substitute their own motor. The positional accuracy is 10 bit.
